Re the phone lines - god is not a cunt is slightly ahead. But, in my own thinking, i rethought the whole thing and thought if god was the ultimate mum then we'd all be born through the ultimate cunt. In fact my latest thinking is that god is all cunt. In a positive sense.

Official Statement from the KLF

We, Jimmy Cauty and Bill Drummond, are The KLF: we have been since 1 January 1987 andwill continue to be for the rest of our lives. At times, we as The KLF have also been known as The Justified Ancients Of Mu Mu, The Timelords, The K Foundation, 2K, K2 Plant Hire and The One World Orchestra, amongst other names.

Being The KLF is hard work and comes with certain responsibilites.

Between 1987 and 1992, we operated within the sphere of popular music, making records, video clips, films, actions, live performances, photograph sessions and interviews.

During that time, as The KLF, we engaged recording engineers, pluggers, accountants, designers, session musicians, photographers, singers, taxi drivers, press officers, promoters, lawyers, rappers, film directors and legends. All of which were paid the agreed fees, bonuses and/or royalties, and given co-writing credits where agreed.

We also used samples. Some of these were uncleared and resulted in us having to delete records. Some were initially uncleared but were cleared at a later date.

Our current activities as The KLF require us to work outside the sphere of popular music.

Thus:

Any other artist, anywhere in the world, claiming to be The KLF, the live embodiment of The KLF, the voice of The KLF, or to artistically represent The KLF in anyway whatsoever, IS NOT and DOES NOT.

Any club, concert hall or festival, anywhere in the world, claiming to be promoting a performance by The KLF in any way whatsoever IS NOT.

Any promoter, agent or management company, anywhere in the world, claiming to represent The KLF in any way whatsoever DOES NOT.
